  2. @sploich Eyup, up on the east coast, so sadly I'll be leaving Texas in a month and a half.

  3. @sploich Someone who isn't afraid to express the self in the face of social stigma, someone who loves love and tolerance - I don't mean to be presumptuous, but in the words of good old' Charlie, you do indeed appear to be "winning!" :P

  7. @sploich OH! Wow, lol I misread Magnolia as Mongolia! XD That's why I brOught up the fact that I'm here from someplace else. :p Anyway, it was because of parents' jobs.

  8. @sploich Thanks for the shoutout, though. I agree with you about woodlands bronies. We really need to have a meetup, even if it is really small!

  9. @sploich Yup, that's me! ^_^ So, I take it by your comment that you, too, are another woodlands brony. *checks out your posting info on your profile* :O You're here from Mongolia? Cool! I can't say I've ever known someone from there! Personally, I'm here from Canada.

  10. @missloki Houston. I am kind of a noob when it comes to forums such as these, so I didn't think to tag the group or person who I wanted to see the message. >.< On the bright side, the location they chose is not 3 minutes from my house, lol.

  11. @wizzy707 Does the upcoming April meeting being at a sports bar mean all bronies under the age of 21 should sit this one out? I'm not trying to rage, or flame about there being an age limit, if there is one. However, being 18, it would be rather helpful to know these things so that I can see if the venue will be available to myself or not. Hopefully someone knows... I checked out Sro's website and couldn't find anything. If there is indeed a restriction that's A-OK with me, totally understandable!

  12. @mrdragon Oh! I see! My apologies. I didn't know.

  13. @policeman Ohhh, ok, I get it. Never mind the whole shyness thing then. Eh heh... mayyyy have been projecting there just a little bit. Wait who is my favorite pony again!? <_< >_>

  14. @policeman Aw, yeah, I can see how that would be startling coming out of the blue like that. >_< This guy was at a school-related convention, so I think being surrounded by total strangers from other schools except for three of my friends from my school (two of which already knew I loved the show) really helped a lot. I can sympathize with that element of shyness. It would take a lot of courage to admit it when approached by someone else about it with no warning in advance. ^ ^

  15. @policeman I dunno, I suppose I just didn't think of that at the time. I figured he had to know the show if he was whistling the theme. Good thing too, because he was totally a cool guy to meet! ^o^

  16. :o oh my! This group is way more active than it is made out to be! I need to work on replying to other peoples' posts, too, I suppose. Still, I've gotta say pony clothes/accessories are great. I found just the perfect t-shirt that has Spike on it with a mustache with the caption "I mustache you a question." Even people who have no knowledge about the show think it's a funny shirt, laugh at it, and are none wiser. *hipster sunglasses* You know, only the -IN- crowd gets these things. *melodramatic hand wave*

  17. So I'm just wondering, does anypony else try to find other bronies in the Texas area by dropping little references here and there in conversation etc? I met a fellow brony IRL for the first time last weekend when I overheard him whistling MLP's opening theme while in the same room as me. Needless to say I immediately approached him, asking "who is best pony?" He mistakenly thought it was Twilight Sparkle, though all observable evidence CLEARLY points to Fluttershy as undisputed best pony! <_< Ahem, also I am entirely immune to being biased here... totally... (/sarcasm). Anyway, I similarly tend to drop hints to those who don't know I'm a brony by saying things like "okey-dokey-lokey!" or "that makes this 20% cooler!" Going back to my original point, do you guys/gals also do this too, or am I just too sheepish about proclaiming the awesomeness of MLP such that I have to semi-hide it through the use of veiled references that only fellow bronies would get?
