@darthlink22 There's a Splash Town meet tomorrow morning if you have $40 to get in. (I don't) Otherwise, I saw some of the Sugarland people talk about a get-together, but there's nothing on the events page about it yet.

New MLP:CCG Saturday tournaments starting at 4:00pm at Atomic Comics Emporium II in Newport News? Tournaments will be 2$ to enter, and winner(s) will receive booster packs! So if your interested spread the word, the more people the bigger the prize pool!

@rikuchan more likely in VA beach than anywhere else. There are lots of bronies in Richmond but not really organized or willing

@alejog1993 Last I heard, there was a meetup at Comic Palooza 2-3 weeks ago - But I found out a few days after the con ended. Most of Houston Brony plans are on various facebook accounts, having no facebook account myself, I dont know which one - more often than not, I can't view the page when I do find plans on FB, as FB won't let me view the page without making me sign up for an account.

!Houstonbronies I picked a spectacular time to plan this thing. It seems Houston is having its beerfest, so the main stage is kaput. I'm still here in the park. If you come ito the park from downtown, facing the convention center, there is a little stage all the way to the right. that's me, chilling. And resenting not being older than 21.

!Houstonbronies This Saturday 28th at 12:00 PM, I will lug my guitar amp down to Downtown at Discovery Green, sit on the stage, and practice mixing pony-dance songs, dubstep, and other tomfoolery on my laptop. I will also watch a few eps of FiM and rewatch the season finale. If you like wubs and ponies, come out and chill as I attempt to resemble an actual DJ. There might be food....but no promises. Gotta raid my fridge and see.

!Houstonbronies That was SOME Meetup - Over 100 attended! Houston is a force to be reckoned with now :) I've never been so excited about a season finale for any show before, but that one hell of a ride! This fandom continues to amaze me. Please let me know if there's anything I can help with in regards to a Brony Con here in Houston next year, I'll do what I can to help make it happen! - BTW: If you attended, I was the guy with the tan & white striped collar shirt with the Dr. Whooves Scarf :) I recognized a few bronies from meetups in October in Sugarland & the Main Event Woodlands one from Novemeber. We went from around a dozen to over 100 - Awesome! ^_^

@wizzy707 Does the upcoming April meeting being at a sports bar mean all bronies under the age of 21 should sit this one out? I'm not trying to rage, or flame about there being an age limit, if there is one. However, being 18, it would be rather helpful to know these things so that I can see if the venue will be available to myself or not. Hopefully someone knows... I checked out Sro's website and couldn't find anything. If there is indeed a restriction that's A-OK with me, totally understandable!

So I'm just wondering, does anypony else try to find other bronies in the Texas area by dropping little references here and there in conversation etc? I met a fellow brony IRL for the first time last weekend when I overheard him whistling MLP's opening theme while in the same room as me. Needless to say I immediately approached him, asking "who is best pony?" He mistakenly thought it was Twilight Sparkle, though all observable evidence CLEARLY points to Fluttershy as undisputed best pony! <_< Ahem, also I am entirely immune to being biased here... totally... (/sarcasm). Anyway, I similarly tend to drop hints to those who don't know I'm a brony by saying things like "okey-dokey-lokey!" or "that makes this 20% cooler!" Going back to my original point, do you guys/gals also do this too, or am I just too sheepish about proclaiming the awesomeness of MLP such that I have to semi-hide it through the use of veiled references that only fellow bronies would get?

@fluttershyftw No, I just didn't want to associate with him. I don't very much appreciate being approached at random for a small hobby like such. If I had ponies or something, I would gladly oblidge the fellow, but I was busy walking home and rather prefer to keep business separate from pleasure. He was also a creepy-lookin guy. Regardless, it seemed to get you a friend.

:o oh my! This group is way more active than it is made out to be! I need to work on replying to other peoples' posts, too, I suppose. Still, I've gotta say pony clothes/accessories are great. I found just the perfect t-shirt that has Spike on it with a mustache with the caption "I mustache you a question." Even people who have no knowledge about the show think it's a funny shirt, laugh at it, and are none wiser. *hipster sunglasses* You know, only the -IN- crowd gets these things. *melodramatic hand wave*
