@rarity oddly enough it's proven more comfy than the saddle I had on it before and it was padded. This one's flexible so deters chafing. I thought first of leather because it looks so good but sweat+leather is more cleaning.

@rarity I don't get them very often but when I do I'm always very relaxed. Then my phone goes off and blares that LOUD Fluffle PuffING NOISE and I'm agitated for like half an hour.

I don't get to have conversations much anymore in any medium I come to enjoy and/or learn from. Usually with coworkers it turns to some form of racism which I thought being out of blue-collar I'd see less of

@awl in my experience, racism is not any more or less prevalent as you climb income brackets. white collar people are just better at hiding it.

Ever since making a few changes in my life I before thought were meaningless to my mental health (well whatever's left of that) I feel generally and genuinely better. I don't feel like I have to go nuts in order to release because the same things that bothered me before, don't seem to now. Maybe arter 33 years I've finally learned to let things slide, flow, do as they will. And make the decision better as to what's worth manipulating and what should just be let go.

@awl Stirner is really fascinating, but that may just be me and his work actually be boring, I don't know. the main concept I refer to is basically that STirner says even when we do altruistic things like helping others, it still is a self-serving act. That's incredibly boiled down but the basic idea

The Elder Scrolls is kind of amazing in how it makes metagaming a part of canon. For example, Daggerfall had 6 possible endings. All of those endings are canon, and it created an event where 6 seperate timelines were going on at once, and then came together, so all six possbilities paradoxically happened, which in-game historians call "The Warp In The West"

@mrmattimation CHIM is basically how characters in the Elder Scrolls become player-characters (Vivec, Tiber Septim). When a character achieves CHIM they not only turn on god mode, they literally become everything that exists. CHIM is basically how the 4th wall can be broken WITHOUT it being broken, and it's kind of amazing.
