We must never forget those brave men, no matter the nation of orgin, be they American, British, french or any of the other nations of the world, even if their homelands were under the jackboot of nazi occupation, or from far off lands on the other side of the world, their role in the liberation of Western and Eastern Europe is no small feat and we must remember to honor them and never repeat the same mistakes that plunged the world into war, a war that took the lives of over 60 million people. Never forget the crimes committed by the Nazis and never forget the price of freedom

Today marks the 70th anniversary of the landings in Normandy. May the brave men who fought and died on those far off beaches rest easy, knowing that their saricifce was not in vain and that Hitler's Reich, a Reich that was to last a thousand years, lay in ruins and his evil madness removed from the face of the earth. To those that fought and lived, your struggles during those long months and years; We have not forgotten. From the beaches of Normandy all the way to Elbe River, you fought long and hard to free Europe from the vice grip of a madman and though some have forgotten, those that still live today have not and will honor you memory until no one is left but even still, you memory will live on those who have been there for you and listened to your stories of a world at war.
