@hoit21 I read all the halo books and they say in the game that they are spartan mark 3. When in fact master cheif was one of the first spartans on reach and he was a spartan mark 1 and around 17. Sparten mark 3's were meant for stealth missions, had less armor, and a camouflage device. They were trained by a markII on planet Omnix, Which was is a shield planet like the one described in halo 3, but not the same one.
