@noizybrony I like it.

@noizybrony Yes, but the people that made the community awesome, were the people that said cleaver things and great drawings or music. Now whenever someone makes something good, it goes unseen amongst the spam and attention whore that refuse to aknowledge it, because it will take attention away from their lame accomplishments (if thats what you want to call them). It's very very very rare I find anything on here worth replying to, and when I do no one else joins the conversation, they continue their huggles snuggles bs and spam some more and talk about their post count.
-
@noizybrony The community is currently a shell of it's former self. Most of the people left, at this point, are just annoying people and attention whores. That will drive away fans that will return.

@noizybrony Cheers! I am very glad I could help! I will def. check out your stuff, in fact, I can't wait to hear it! Oh and yes, I was wearing 100$ Grado headphones (and partially blew out the left earcup, fml), but don't worry, I listen to music pretty loud already, so I was ok XDDDD
-
@noizybrony Hm. I think to begin with you might want to go with the clean tone with just a bit of reverb, that always sounds really nice. Make sure you cut the lower frequencies, say, roll off at about 300 Hz, that will keep it warm without being overwhelming. Then, if you still want the distortion, add it slowly. I bet that you will find that less is more with distorted vocals. I remember once I was recording vocals for a post-rock song, and just for a joke i turned the distortion up a little too far and nearly deafened myself XD. Anyways, I hope I was helpful, good luck with the song! Do you have a soundcloud account or something like that? I would love to hear it when you are done!
-
@noizybrony Ah, the tascam, I am familliar wit that one. Are you using the dedicated mic side or the guitar in/mic side? I have found that you can get a better sound with the dedicated mic port. The thing with distorted vocals is that they need to be compressed propperly so you won't peak the master volume. I am not as familiar with FL studio, but I just had a look online and it seems similar to Cubase (which I do know how to use). What kind of music are you recording? Warmth is desirable, but it can be overwhelming.
-
@noizybrony are you getting a really "thick" bass heavy sound out of the mic? Or is it too thin? The former is easy to fix. What kind of interface are you using, and are you using a computer program to record it? And if so, which one?
-
@noizybrony What kind of mic are you using?
