@greydragon412 You end up with a ton of them because every single site needs its own, and every time you want to use it to login you have to send it over the internet where it can potentially be intercepted. Since you're not going to remember so many passwords, you're either storing them in a file somewhere or you're being insecure with them by using the same one. If you're going to be storing your passwords in a file anyway there is a much better method that already exists and is used by for example SSH.
