  1. @cabal I find the problem with informally helping people fix their machines is that you immediately become the point of blame for _anything_ that goes wrong afterwards ("IT WASN'T LIKE THAT BEFORE YOU MESSED WITH IT"). Out of curiosity, would you say that's more or less prevalent in professional tech support?
