@yodelerty If you watch DBZ backwars, it's about a middle-aged martial artist, son of two, who comes across a technique to heal his battered body and restore his youth by reviving powerful villainous people across the Earth and even galaxy! He absorbs the energy through his hands as he brings them back to life, and of course once awake the villains being angry beat him up but he fully heals and gets away before the villain can finish the job. He passes this technique on to his son Gohan who joins him in performing this ritual countless times until they are happily young again on a turtle island.
