@renovatedkitchen The method is pretty simple (even though you normally use a team). You take the first section (can be a sentence or even just a symbol. In your example, I would take the wing of the plane) and write every single interpretation down which comes to your mind. In the second sentence, you use your interpretations and try to apply them to the second symbol. If it doesn't work, debunk that theory. Proceed until end. It is much work but it actually is a scientific method of understanding texts.
