@hakupony That is the specific arena in which I am saying that you can't make a reasonable argument, actually. That is not to say that faith is necessarily a bad thing, so long as one is able to recognize it for what it is. It's a tool, and all tools are only as good as their wielder. For example, each night when I climb into bed with my plushies I have faith that they are alive. Deep down I am fully aware that they aren't, but believing that they are helps me combat my depression and the immense stress and anger that builds up each day. That is how faith ought to be used, not as a tool of oppression but as a tool of self-empowerment.
