@communistprime Yeah, that's a point. still there are special sets of armor made to allow certain types of movements. But yeah, the spell failure is there, if your class is not meant to do something there will be penalties. I had to design a "no class" full plate armor set once, since my paladin inherited an ancient armor that works as a badge of office for his status of protector of a province/kingdom, and since any class could be named champion of the kingdom, it should allow complete movement freedom and excellent protection, since it had a defense stat of 9k, when the best normal warrior armor had 6k. Designing that thing was HELL. And I'm not sure how a blacksmith would be able to actually forge something like that. Oh, and also it had to look classy since the character is really vain.
