@abigpony The game has a very steep learning curve that starts to plateu out around Anor Londo (the games midpoint. Anor Londo represents the point at which the player has gotten into the game developers mindset and finds the challenges and puzzles less incomprehenisble. It's also where a lot of players discover the PVP part of the game and find themselves coming into a lot of extra experience and equipment very quickly, which takes the edge off somewhat.
