    @widget That's perfectly acceptable! That's actually what I do. Or what I should do really. Right now I only have /var/tmp/portage set up like that, but I ought to just put all of /tmp like that. But I can't really be bothered to do so. The main point I was trying to make was to never make a /tmp partition on your *hard drive*.
