If I had any other advice, I would point out that a password complexity of 6 characters is very weak. I would include a requirement for at least 2 character types. But then again, for a social networking site I would rate this low on my 'List of Places I'm likely to Post Sensitive Information'. The type of users of this site, besides the very young (there's no verification of birth date), probably know how to behave on the Internet and control what they make available. In the end while security here isn't super duper tight I would say that's not much of a problem in this case for the reason above.
