@pony Is there no such thing as private messages here? And I actually can't change the "To:" field to anything except "Everyone"? I can't really believe that, there must be something I'm missing. All that aside, I see you're in Provo. I'm stuck up here in Rexburg at BYU-I. Just thought I'd shout out to someone sort of remotely close to me. Also, I made this. If I had any other advice, I would point out that a password complexity of 6 characters is very weak. I would include a requirement for at least 2 character types. But then again, for a social networking site I would rate this low on my 'List of Places I'm likely to Post Sensitive Information'. The type of users of this site, besides the very young (there's no verification of birth date), probably know how to behave on the Internet and control what they make available. In the end while security here isn't super duper tight I would say that's not much of a problem in this case for the reason above.

@therainbowshibex The connection isn't encrypted, as far as I can tell. Some creep with a protocol analyzer can steal everything you send to the site (username, password, etc.). Wireshark doesn't work on this computer so I can't be sure.
