    Today on tumblr: tumblr adds doughnuts and quotes to the logo to celebrate the first Friday of June, which is officially National Doughnut Day! It celebrates the Salvation Army volunteers giving out doughnuts on the frontlines during World War II. Of course, today is also the 70th anniversary of the D-Day landings at Normandy - and tumblrites who are completely missing the point are raging that the D in D-Day didn't stand for doughnuts.
