@nightmarefuel Of course! I think we can look at normality in two ways: sociologically and physically. In sociology, "deviance" is the breaking of folkways, mores, or norms. Speeding slightly in traffic or working directly against the traditions of your land can both be considered deviance. I'm comforted that this accepted scientific definition of deviance leaves very little room for non-deviant people to exist. If we are judging normality physically, we can notice that we have all suffered biological mutations at birth and throughout life; on a much grander scale, we may be the result of the physical rules of this universe, meaning any abnormality in us would only be apparent. If that is so, I argue that we are all entirely regular and normal, because our current state is the only way we could possibly be right now.
