    @nerthos 1) You assume music fans are a niche market, they're not. It's a very large collective.
    2) There are plenty of older fans getting their kids into vinyl, even though they aren't music buffs. My friend doesn't really listen to much stuff outside what his dad got him into but he has plenty vinyls of his favourites like AC/DC and Jimi Hendrix.
    3) This isn't to say vinyl is the leading medium, but it's far from obscure. Millions upon millions of vinyls are sold every year.
