The Peppermint Mare was founded in the late 20s after the Skank Shortage of 1923. Initially unable to attract customers due to the Great Depression and prohibition, its saving grace came in 1941 when the United States entered World War II. Strippers were sent overseas to help cheer up soldiers. This led to a business boom following the war, which continued until the 1980s, when the entire premises vanished suddenly. A memorial strip club was built and the Peppermint Mare became a nationwide franchise. Little is known about what happened to the original building, or the hos inside at the time.
