So, in Watchmen, superheroes are real. Thus, nobody cares about superhero comics any more, and instead they all start reading comics about pirates. In My Little Pony, there is a literal god and her name is Celestia. Thus, nopony cares about religion any more, and instead they all live jolly happy lives without having to worry about that sort of thing.
