@vcgriffin #spoiler I enjoyed it, but I'm not so sure that I should have. It was great to see this pedestal the Doctor's put him on crumble as the Master plays to his innate hatred of soldiers. The CyberDan business was also enjoyable to watch, and I loved the credits gag with Clara's eyes and her credit first. The Doctor lying to make someone genuinely feel better was a nice contrast to his lying in "Mummy on the Orient Express". But I can't help but walk away with the feeling that the Master's motivation revolving entirely around the Doctor was a bit of a misogynistic plot choice for our first female Master. Nor can I decide whether the Cybrigadier was a nice tribute or stomping on the poor man's grave. Also I'm mad they killed Osgood. That said, as a finale it was just so bleak. I really hope Santa manages to mediate between the Doctor and Clara and get them to some sort of emotional resolution. Also: where was Danny after he exploded? In the literal afterlife?
