@peachesandcream No, if I believe correctly, it is a Recessive alleel, meaning, you need both parrent with the gene in order for it to even be availab,e an,d both parents each have two a;leles to give, so, it is possible, that you mon mad either two Ginger allese or one., and your father had either i ginger allee or towo, and, each, gave their own to you as a baby.
