@tiffany While are outliers to this comparison, generally the difference between cartoons and anime stems from either having less detailed drawings moving during more frames or more detailed drawings moving during less frames. As far a sthe anime side of things go, there are a lot of shows I've enjoyed where the technical animation isn't all that great but the actual directing and shot composition is pretty stellar.
