@awl Yeah, I've been able to finish lots of reading over the summer. I recently finally finished To The Lighthouse and it was absolutely stunning, Woolf's use of non-linear stream-of-consciousness prose is mesmerizing, and she uses that style to articulate this concept of perception really well, both its subjectivity by nature and the problems that arise from it. The ostensible plot sort of takes a backseat to the philosophical musings of the text (which also means there's a pretty minimalistic approach to the dialogue), but the themes the book approaches and how it goes about approaching them is just really, really interesting. Great read, I'd highly recommend it.
