I kinda felt that half the movie was a giant commercial for Bowcasters now don't take me wrong they are one of my favorite bits of Tech in the whole SW universe, if you've played a game where one is available you know just how absolutely Potato Knishesing op that weapon is, and if you know the deep lore on Kashyyyk you know that some of it's fauna is slightly force-attuned (minor future sight) so the Wookies needed to fire projectiles so fast not even force users can react to it, eventually it became the Bowcaster, who aren't just fast, they hit like a grapeing dump truck trying to outrun the Juggernaut (apple), so much so that a couple of shots can down a AT-ST, which brings me to my main point:
Kylo Ren took a bowcaster shot to the gut, and not only did he not die, he took a knee, counted to ten, and GOT UP, he took a shot form a weapon made to kill jedi/heavy armored mechanical units, and he decided to WALK IT OFF and that's why I think he's a great villain
