Soo, let me get this straight. People who have been bashing Origin and Uplay for being a less stable and pretty and usable and versatile and probably devoid of a super hero are now finding a new fiend on the horizon. And it goes with the name Universal Windows Platform, or UWP for short. Microsoft seems to be trying to win people over by making things exclusive to UWP, like Gears Of War. And now people like Tim Sweeney are speaking out against this so called UWP because... ... ... Why exactly ? I mean to me it looks just like a really really old fight that touches upon both the fight called "Steam vs everyone" and "OpenGL versus Windows xp" and "Netscape verus Internet Explorer". Microsoft is still a company that secretly but not so covertly fetishizes a monopoly, and is to antitrust like vampires are to garlic... Soo, what is exactly different this time around ?
