@archaeme That's a story dating back to 2013 when I was a mod. I had to deal with a lot of problem users, the administrator at the time was a liar and bailed out on the site for a month when things got hot, part of the staff covered up for people who should have been banned, and without the support of the staff's upper tier I was unable to get rid of the mentioned problem users who kept turning the site into a flamewar. The admin didn't like how I did things and looked for a silly excuse to demote me, and a few days after that left the site. Pardons were handed all around, another mod resigned over the whole thing, and another of the mods that the gone administrator had appointed went into meltdown and banned half the site for being my friends, which was undone as soon as the new admin came online and resulted in the perpetrator resigning. It was a mess but I picked the name because Lucifer got in trouble with God over being zealous in doing his job, which was what I was trying to do.
