@maiyannah Assaults were good in Enemy Unknown. Of course you can't rely on them without support, but the huge damage bonuses of short range plus assault weapon reaction shots meant that even chrysalids would rarely get any damage in, and when they did, it'd be negligible due to armor. I mostly used them to bait because of mobility, armor, and reaction shots. Whenever they engaged they had support.
