@scribus With that being said: Politics in Puerto Rico are very weird. They don't abide by the same two-party system we do, they have three major political parties and none of them are really equivalent to any of ours, so if they had electoral power it would be very hard to predict whether they would be a blue or red state. As Puerto Rico's population is actually larger than about half of the mainland states, and therefore they would have more representation then some states, politicians across party lines are sort of iffy about the whole thing.
