@macpony55 Coming up with another name for female fans ends up causing a worse issue of *forcing* the divide further by saying that WELL NOW IF YOU USE THE OTHER TERM YOU ARE WRONG. Also, I'm not convinced the entirety is male, so much as what I was getting at before: By having the term tinted for male use, females have less reason to use it. In some sense, yes. Bronies referring to specifically male fans fits well for FiM's unexpected demographic well. But when referring to fans of MLP or FiM at large, using Bronies to refer to that group is a massive undercutting of the intended categorization.
