I'm seriously considering buying a rechargeable phone battery and solder myself some leads to the contacts instead of a proper lipo battery. Or I use my old phone battery and solder leads. I know it's not ideal but it should be not so bad considering the battery will only have a low current load. Phone batteries are so much cheaper than quadcopter lipos and in my case more readily available.
