    Crap. My old and trusty wireless laptop mouse started to behave very strangely. Despite putting in new batteries it takes a long time for it to wake up resulting in a second of wiggling the mouse in order to make it usable. And then after a few seconds of inactivity the whole spiel starts again. The mouse is about 10 years old. Time to get a new one :-/
