    And I'm not saying that to, like, denigrate the guy, or something. He objectively, indisputably made the general election much, much harder on Clinton. And I like the guy. I like to think he'd have taken the country in a very nice direction. But, in retrospect—and again, I didn't realize this until recently—in retrospect, he wasn't the guy we needed. And I don't think he'll ever again be able to run as successfully as he did in 2016. He might not even be able to keep his seat in the Senate, in all honesty.
