Then, Batman arrived to inform us that the reason things had gone down hill lately was because Princess Celestia had secretly imprisoned Luna and taken over the government, and that he'd successfully freed Luna, but this had triggered a full scale war between the resistance and forces loyal to Celestia, who had taken a number of families hostage in the residential district.
