@ceruleanspark Well, sort of. Apple is much better for making products that non-technical users can use more effectively. Apple service is top-notch, and, through tighter control of hardware and software, as well as leveraging of simplified software and media delivery, their phones, computers, etc. are much more stable, and all in aesthetically pleasing little packages. It's that whole, "It just works," mentality. In that regard, for consumer devices, they are higher quality. But, the notion that their hardware and software is somehow inherently better quality? As a long time Mac user who has had plenty of issues with hardware being just as shoddy as their Windows- and Linux-running counterparts, operating system crashes that have required wipe-and-reinstalls just like Mac fans deride Windows users for having to do, etc. I cry, "Baloney!"
