Her handling of Benghazi, as well as the email controversy, overshadows that. Harry Truman presided over the end of World War II but was disliked as a President over corruption in his cabinet. Bush Sr. saw the fall of the Soviet Union—he also promised he wouldn’t enact new taxes, so he lost his re-election bid to Bill Clinton the very next year. The Trump Administration needs to make sure this upcoming event, which will be very big news if it actually comes to pass, isn’t overshadowed afterwards by one of those scandals he seems to keep finding himself in.
