this background is part of a panning parallax. in order to facilitate that and also make it look painted, without losing any quality, i had to draw each layer as a separate 2K image in Manga Studio, export those at full quality and import them back into Animate. since Animate uses a software renderer, it isn't utilizing my GPU properly, which means this scene is veeerrrrrry slow-moving in the preview window before the final export. http://rainbowdash.net/url/872447
