Well, some news: I fixed *most* of it. The following things are still busted: realtime updates are broken (maybe forever? Meteor, the mechanism they worked by relied entirely on undocumented browser features that sort of don't exist anymore, especially in chrome.) Also: the notice box is behaving really weirdly on chrome. Sometimes it works, sometimes it closes straight away. I find tab selecting it works every time.
