With the power of over-engineering and 3D printing I repaired my mother's ironing board's height adjustment. The original mechanism slipped and I had to break the main components in order to make it repairable that I replaced with my prints. Otherwise I would have been a new purchase. 50€ new vs 50cent in printed plastic and a few nuts and screws.
