    I'm shocked that those cash registers run on Windows and get a horrible touch UI slapped onto them. I feel pity that the cashier's most crucial tool is stuck in the past. The UI has a block of function keys that are never changing and have the flair of a classic 80's cash register with hardware keys. The touch screen and PC can offer a so much better experience with context/state sensitive controls.
