@citrusrain My ex-Wife had a big family, valued, family over all else. Even me. Couldn't stand it. I have a small family, we're close, but I don't feel I need to be harshly loyal to them. We all know where we stand. If you don't have the same mentality as her, family-wise. Then it's gonna be a pain in the flank. You could always try and spend time with them, I mean they could be cool. Dunno, that's another option. Just giving my 2 cents from experience. Good luck, but yeah I'd still say give it a shot hopefully things will normalize after the stress of her ill sister subsides.
