@macpony55 batteries suck sometimes. I once had one of those cheapo controller unit things that plugs into the TV and had a bunch of crappy video games built in. Well it had a battery pack thing you put alkaline batteries in, but it also came with a DC plugin. I was a kid at the time so I had no idea that if both were in at the same time, it would make the batteries explode. battery acid dprayed out of the battery pack casing at the seams and almost got in my eyes. burned like hell.
