@thelastgherkin The biggest thing to sell me on the Wii was the idea of the Virtual Console. It gave me a chance at Sin and Punishment, which I enjoyed a good bit. Super Mario Galaxy 1 and 2 were pretty cool. Hrm... Super Smash Bros. Brawl is actually simple enough in concept that the controls would work on a Gameboy. ( Super Smash Land's existence supports this idea. ) But aside from those and maybe Wii Sports Resort, there weren't that many memorable games I've played for it. I haven't touched Kirby's Epic Yarn, Super Paper Mario, or Sonic Colors yet as I don't want to track down my sensor bar and hook that up all over again. I don't know. At the moment, I see a lot more reason why game consoles might go the way of the arcade system at this rate than I see any convincing reasons to upgrade anymore.
