@otakubrony69 I watched the premiere of that and found it pretty entertaining. Not usually my type of show, but it was really well directed and a lot of the gags hit their marks quite sharply, one of the better anime comedies I've seen in a while actually. I should continue it.

@otakubrony69 I have heard about that. I'm actually kind of indifferent to it, to be honest. I don't really think the series warrants a remake, the original's kind of a timeless classic to me and I think it holds up perfectly fine on its own. I'm still definitely gonna watch the remake though, it could end up being pretty great! We'll just have to wait and see.

@otakubrony69 Without spoiling much, I think it works in the context of the show's overarching narrative (which is to say, the story wouldn't work if the main characters were dudes in their 20s or something). The violence is a little heavy and jarring, but I don't think the show is ever indulgent about it, its just heightened for the sake of selling the drama. I'd say it's worth watching if you're looking for a gorgeous character driven tragedy, but since you said you usually prefer comedies your mileage may vary with it.

@otakubrony69 Oh neat. I usually watch lots of sci-fi and drama shows since they tend to align well with my preferences in storytelling, but I've branched out to other genres before (I don't watch a lot of comedies but Nichijou's a pretty darn fun show). Some of my favourites are Puella Magi Madoka Magica, Serial Experiments Lain, FLCL, and The Tatami Galaxy.

@otakubrony69 They're Logitech 2.1 speakers, the left-right channels plug into one socket in the subwoofer, the sub is where the main volume control and stuff is too
