I cannot stress it enough: Watch "Amphibia"! The first season ended today so there is no excuse.

@adiwan The abundance of frogs makes it extremely tempting, but the art style is offputting.

@mangeurdenuage One way or another F-Droid.org cannot avoid having a filtering mechanism. The line has to be drawn somewhere.
Both for genuine trash (org.vasya.myqthelloworld) and aggressive political fringes.
What I think is important here is that F-Droid won't include some kind of repository black-list with Rick Astley's performance. So as far as software goes, it respects the user's freedom to choose for themselves. -
HAHAHAHAHAHAHA

@darkw00d 2D>3D with the sole exception of heterosexual marriage blessed by both church and state, that removes the PD from 3DPD
-
@nerthos with full admission that I have absolutely no clue what you mean I'll just reconstruct my point this way: having relationships with people is more fascinating than infatuations with animations. this opinion is brought to you by a user of rainbow pony website

@darkw00d 3DPD means "three dimensional pig disgusting", however marriage purifies the 3D and it is no longer disgusting or pig-like, 3D becomes pure and handholding is no longer sinful.

@mangeurdenuage @fdroidorg This sounds reasonable to me. It doesn't demand the "one step beyond" that I have a problem with.
@fedilab is compliant with this as is any other application that doesn't feature a "Did you know about Gab? Sign up today!" button. -
@xj9 You mean the AdSense campaign?
-
@mangeurdenuage It seems we won't be seeing him here for a while: https://blog.freedombone.net/messing-with-activitypub
> In case you were wondering, the next version of Freedombone will be out soon although I don't expect it will have any fediverse servers. -
@mangeurdenuage @guizzy And what I mean is that we're talking about characters that can have natural blue, green, orange or anything else from a rainbow mane colours :-).

In this universe? I wouldn't agree. -
@brainblasted Does it look like a crash?
-
@brainblasted You have server_tokens on, so I found out you're using nginx 1.10.3, but you also have HTTP/2 enabled. That's not a good combination, either disable HTTP/2 or upgrade nginx, as there are unfixed issues.
-
@brainblasted As per https://nginx.org/en/security_advisories.html: CVE-2018-16843 and CVE-2018-16844 (excessive memory usage and CPU in HTTP/2).

@lain Not deep by Soviet metro standards.
-
@oreolek It is not silent historically and it's also not silent in Bulgarian. It's a schwa, basically.
Or you could pronounce it like "yer-uk-yer". -
@debugninja The fediverse is older than those by far, so maybe it's the other way around :-).
-
@debugninja Next time I'll check if the recipient is even capable of receiving my OStatus notice…
The time has come.

@foxhkron Have you checked the browsers from the https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/996_working_hour_system#Browser_blacklist list?

@connyduck Even projects that would try to erase all files if ran from a Belgian IP address can still be free software. There's no legal way around this.
That thread on the F-Droid forum is ridiculous.-
@connyduck I do believe that putting anti-features in code is against what free software stands for, but this is not a legal issue.
After all, AOSP is free software, too.
I think code used for bootloader locking in upstream Android is free, too.

@kaniini @lain The Patriarch is on his way to you now. Video evidence: https://youtu.be/fx62wOW8oNg -
@diodelass@cybre.space You can write a subnet there instead of a netmask, after the address.
-
@siberiabreadfactory Но, что характерно, не всем. Если крыша под головой есть, то не будет 10 000 рублей.
-
@mono @mangeurdenuage I hope this is not the case of "Nothing is more permanent than the temporary".
Howerever, if she doesn't have a back-up, then the odds of the instance getting back online aren't good, judging by what was left from !loadaverage after the crash. -
@mangeurdenuage No one expected that the expected will come unexpectedly, again.
@kaniini did a better job explaining this than I have.
And yes, I still insist that software is not a service. It's the core of the free software philosophy that the user executing the code should absolutely be in control of what the code does.
Of course when the sources are available, one can simply do:
sed -i "/I'm sorry Dave, I'm afraid I can't do that/d"
Yet that is more of a safe-guard than something to be expected.
And with provided binaries on DRM'd platforms like Play Store one doesn't have that courtesy. Should DRM be considered a feature then? -
> Watching raw last night makes me think why do I put myself through this.
@dblaze09 The film? -
@orekix@aria.company @mangeurdenuage There are some memory consumption issues with MariaDB 10.3 on !loadaverage specifically (other installations are unaffected), but I'm giving that one to MariaDB or Oracle MySQL, and not to Debian.
-
> I haven't updated to buster, are there problems?
@orekix @mangeurdenuage I have. Not as far as I am aware. -
@commagray The Eskobar's Axiom barely applies, NodeJS is so much worse ;-).

@scribus Carcino sends his regards, says he misses you.

@nerthos That, and I know people on this side of the fediverse. No idea who uses Diaspora.
-
@nerthos (python is bdfl) Mastodon's column layout is pretty bizarre though.
-
@thismightbeauser Yeah, I'm not sure what they were going for exactly. It can work in an ultrawide screen, but you'd likely have to mess with it with stylish or some other browser extension to make it really good. I think pleroma does it right with a wide main timeline centered on the screen, and a smaller notifications timeline on the side.
