@ovation May I ask you to clarify something for me? You said that you do not wish to be labeled as a Brony, correct? And yet, you hang out online with Bronies. Does that mean that you don't mind being labeled as a Brony online, but offline you do mind? You watch (and enjoy) the show, and you clearly partake in fandom-related activities (existing on this site). Those two alone could easily label you as a Brony by others.

@dlcentaur Just because I hang out with and talk to bronies doesn't mean I am one. To use a poorly-written, sleep-deprived metaphor; just because you're friends with football players, does that make you a football player? Possibly, but maybe you're a person who just likes watching football, or has better things to do with his time than sit around talking about football all the time.

@ovation I'm not talking about who you /are/. I'm speaking of who you are projected to be. This whole conversation is about image. If you hang around Bronies, people will easily see you as one. Likewise, if you hang out with Football players, people may see you as a Football player. Please don't tell me that you only fear for your image away from the distancing comfort of your computer screen.

@dlcentaur Like I said, children's theatre. If I cared about my image, I certainly wouldn't be wandering around in silly costumes singing silly songs. Trust me, it's impossible to care about reputation. But the same goes for the metaphor; if you hang out with football players, people will see you as a football player, even though you don't consider yourself to be one.

@ovation you're doing it either for yourself or for a future generation or you're just a plain bad person. If you do it for yourself it's because you enjoy acting and the such and do it for yourself and your own image. You want to project as a children's actor and are proud of it. Alternately you're doing it for the children and want to be a strong, fun role model for them. Either way you're projecting a positive image of yourself through your mind's eye. After all, if you didn't care about your reputation, why would you be fretting about bronies ruining your reputation?

@abigpony Ahh, there's those assumptions again. Why I act is my business, but I guarantee that it's none of those reasons. I act because I'm good at it and because I love doing it. Nothing about image there.

@ovation I care about it and I'm sure other people do as well. I'm more ashamed of people like you who are too afraid to embrace their time as a brony, time they wholly enjoyed, to even just play it cool with the image then the people who ARE out there supporting a community they love. Sure, they're weird and sure they're consumer whores who cave in to the image of a pony and sure they're probably giving that money to people who are only in the community for money or fame, but at least they can stick by their convictions and support people such as you and me by keeping the community many millions strong.

@darcyblue Oh, ok. That is good then, I guess. <.< In any case, I'm certain that Ralts you now have won't disappoint you. I checked its potential, and while it's not as best as it can be, its IVs are above average (especially in the important stat). Nothing against Umbreon, but... Gallade is certainly much easier to level up than Umbreon, so it is a more practical choice to be using to capture pokemons. Gallade's higher attack stat will certainly come in handy too.
