@redenchilada I usually review recent records for my blog, though I've toyed in the past with the idea of a "Classics" section where I do a writeup on some old record I think is particularly great, influential, or worth discussing to some length. But I'm not at all opposed to the idea of weighing in my thoughts on a record if it's requested either.

@redenchilada If you're talking about the study of mathematics you wouldn't capitalize it, but if you're referring to the class you take (i.e. "Math 101"), you would capitalize it since in that context it becomes a proper noun.
-
@redenchilada English divides its perspective into three groups, though some languages distinguish between separate third person perspectives based on their salience, where a proximate third party would be treated differently than an omniscient non-participant observer. So while in English both are categorized as "third person", the latter is sometimes referred to in other languages as an ostensible "fourth person" in writing mechanics.
-
@redenchilada Jokes on you, that's first person writing since you're using first person personal pronouns ("I") to refer to the subject. Second person perspective involves pronouns such as "you" referring to the subject.
-
@redenchilada I remember at one point I just grabbed the Splatterscope and tried to get a bunch of stylish kills since it's really fun to use
-
@redenchilada I just never got around to changing it, I played around with the default sensitivity with gyro off and it felt comfortable enough for me to settle with it.
-
@redenchilada 219 points with 0 kills and 6 deaths... oh my. I'd make fun of you but I'm really not that better with Chargers.
-
@redenchilada Yeah, I just use the right analog stick too, I guess it feels more "natural" since I've already played plenty of games that use a right analog stick for their aiming. I also have my axes normal, but I haven't changed the sensitivity at all.
-
@redenchilada What control scheme do you use to aim?
-
@redenchilada I've actually gotten really good at Squid Jump, it's a nice small addition to kill time in the multiplayer lobby.
-
@redenchilada Chargers will probably be a lot more viable as play options once the Splat Zone play mode in Ranked Battles becomes available, since then the fact that players from both teams will be constantly filtered to specific areas in the map will facilitate the need for long range support. Chargers by nature kind of conflict with the framework of Turf War, where you pretty much always have to be on the move and cover as much ground as possible, since they're a more complacent weapon class.

@redenchilada Oh
-
@redenchilada It just captured the loading screen, not the GamePad screen.
-
@redenchilada Oh yeah, the Elgato is only around $140 here.
-
@redenchilada Oh hey yeah, I'm checking some local prices and it's floating in and around 200 bucks, that's pretty good. I'll keep the LGP in mind.
-
@redenchilada I generally stick to weapons in the shooter and roller classes but the times I have used a charger I've found myself preferring the Classic Squiffer
-
@redenchilada My brother has played Splatoon but as of right now he wants to get the capture card for some of his Smash highlights.
-
@redenchilada He hasn't decided on a brand yet, right now buying a capture card is more of an idea he's simply posited rather than a purchase he's fully researched as of yet. I will keep those brands in mind though and pass them onto him, I'll sure he'll appreciate the advice.
-
@redenchilada I wish I had a capture card so I could make highlight reels of some of my plays. My brother is planning on picking one up during the summer though, so that'll be nice.
-
@redenchilada That double kill was nice, good play
-
@redenchilada same
-
@redenchilada And with all of that reking the kraken doesn't observe its state?
-
@redenchilada Also why the hell can't the kid/squid observe its own gorram quantum state!?
-
@redenchilada my parents watch it together religiously. I plan on moving out
-
@redenchilada red, you might have to put her down....
-
@redenchilada Have you ever seen that show without the laugh track? It's actually uncomfortable.
-
@redenchilada Splatoon is /way/ more addicting than I initially thought it would be. It's actually really well balanced, which leads to a lot of different playstyles so you're not getting a bunch of people all using some cheap exploitable weapon (there are actually a lot of viable counters to the roller). It's also an incredibly fast paced game, and since the objective is framed around territory control within a short time you're always on the move. It works on a pretty constant stream of gratification that's hard to stop once you get a good streak going.
-
@redenchilada It's okay, I may or may not be doing the same thing to my brother with the WiiU
-
@redenchilada If you're up for some matches I don't have to leave for work until around half an hour from now
-
@redenchilada Last I checked it was the oil rig and the warehouse
