I'm tempted to write up a review for In Colour since there's a lot you can talk about in it but I don't want to fall into a habit of only reviewing albums I really love.

@scriba True, but it's only through the vast, if sometimes apprehensive, expansion of one's palate that they will refine their critical bias. Plus consuming and discussing media you aren't fond of in a healthy manner can help put what you are fond of into a better frame of reference, right?
But you're right, re-listening to and reviewing works that I didn't explicitly love for the sake of giving them a less than sheer excellent score is pretty silly. I guess I just don't my writing to go into a slump, you know? I definitely prefer praising the media I love a lot more than criticizing the media I don't, and pretty much any review I have written so far has been for an album I want to discuss in some capacity, but I suppose I'd still like to give my writing variety to improve it. @redenchilada I usually review recent records for my blog, though I've toyed in the past with the idea of a "Classics" section where I do a writeup on some old record I think is particularly great, influential, or worth discussing to some length. But I'm not at all opposed to the idea of weighing in my thoughts on a record if it's requested either.

@redenchilada I actually don't dislike MC Frontalot, and far as campy nerdcore rappers go he certainly has an understanding of his own stylistic leanings. Mind you, I don't really engage with his work beyond that understanding of his work, but judging from its nature I don't think I'm really supposed to anyway.

@scriba Oh yeah, your comment has been taken into account for sure. I just thought I'd probably go into better detail of my reasoning because in retrospect my initial comment kind of framed me as a bit ostentatious.
