@pokestrike No, they're certainly better in regards to piercing, cutting, and actual combat effectiveness, but they're that, specialized combat weapons. They're meant exclusively for combat.

@pokestrike No man. There's practically no difference. It's a matter of a katana requiring a fairly complex process to forge, and being pretty delicate; and a ninja sword being a simple blade with a similar shape, but more resistant and used from everything from killing to climbing.

@pokestrike If you want ninja stuff, a ninja sword which is an utility blade should be far cheaper. Katanas are not ninja weapons.
